Robin Williams: Thank You For Your Spark

Image from The New York Times by Jay Paul

On August 11, 2014 Robin Williams was found dead in his home in suspected suicide at the age of 63 years-old. After learning about the saddening news, in a blink of an eye, my mind played many scenes of his many films he participated. Countless characters that is impossible to describe his uniqueness in one sentence. I grew up watching so many of his films and none of his characters were alike. Robin could play any character flawlessly that is difficult for any other actor to replicate it. From the hilarious genie to the lovable Mrs. Doubtfire to the terrifying “Sy” to the memorable “Patch” Adams to the crazy Simon in The Crazy Ones

With a heavy heart, I end my article not saying goodbye to a great actor because he will be greatly remembered through his numerous films and television appearances. He once said, You’re only given a little spark of madness. You mustn’t lose it. Thank you for sharing your little spark of madness.
