King Leo Continues his Reign

It is hard to believe, but Leo Messi has managed to snatch one more time the FIFA Ballon d’Or for the last four years. Before the award ceremony, the nominees spoke in the press conference about the award. Messi was frank to explain he actually had low expectations of winning for a fourth time. The Barcelona forward explained the previous year wasn’t his best. For many, it is not a surprise the Argentinian’s goal is for his home country to win a World Cup once again with his name on the roster. Yet, Lionel Messi is the winner of the FIFA Ballon d’Or and a well deserved win!

Now, in a different perspective, Messi actually likes high fashion. For the last four years, Leo’s suits have been elegant, sharp, and high couture.  Let’s take a look back at his suits since his first win.

Facebook

In 2010, the 22 year-old striker wore a classic suit that any man of any age may sport. A year later, a different shade of Messi appears with a taffeta dark shine in his tuxedo with an elegant bow tie. By 2012, A retro-1960’s velvet suit with skinny tie with a vest the Argentinian player accepted his award for the third time. Lastly, this year, Lionel’s suit stood out for the main reason he wore a polka-dot suit.

He actually received mixed reviews for the polka-dot suit; however, this is my take on it…I love it. The reason he can pull this suit with glamour and praise is because this suit is youthful, playful, and adequate for a 25 year-old man.
